Bannersoft Installation Guide

1. Create a directory of your main web site

This directory will house the Bannersoft software so give it a familiar name such as "banners".

For example, if your domain name is http://www.domain.com/, you might create a directory called http://www.domain.com/banners

This directory must be made as an ASP.NET 1.1 Application directory.

2. Unzip Bannersoft into this directory

Application includes several sub-directories.

You must maintain this directory structure and include the sub-directories.

DO NOT PLACE A COPY OF OUR ZIP FILE ANYWHERE ON YOUR WEB SITE.

3. Manually create SQL Server database

Named "Bannersoft" (using Enterprise Manager or your tool of choice)

4. Execute Database

Sql\scripts\0.1.0.0.sql,0.2.0.0.sql, 0.3.0.0.sql in Query Analyzer

5. Set the connection string in web.config

ie. <connectionString="Server=(local);Database=bannersoft;uid=;pwd=;"

6. Browse

to http://www.domain.com/banners in your web browser

7. LOGIN

Use username=Password=admin to login

**NOTE

You can install and use this application only on one domain name.
